Nothing

Nothing

I look in the mirror

I see an empty skull hidden

under layers of flesh and blood

I am nothing

Just a bunch of chemical formulas

If I pass tomorrow

I’ll be mourned but for a short time

Then forgotten

Like a wound that heals leaving no scar behind

Life begins and it ends

No two opinions about it

`

Then why

Do I worry and fret

Do I pretend and hide

Do I smile, nod and fake empathy

Do I chase after depression

`

I am but a grain of sand on the beach

A drop in the ocean

A speck of dust in a largely unknown universe

A fraction of a second on the clock of life

I am nothing

You are so true…. one nothing that cant turn many go through the waves and emotion that no one was capable of except situation… you are one nothing who can inspire million life without entering in their life ever…do u ever realized how meaningful one life is…its like a single cell in human body which if deformed or wasn’t there entire body has a state of deformation…

I believe in what Vivekananda says “Nothing is the soul creation for everything” ..

By the way beautifully written πŸ™‚

Thanks Kumar! πŸ˜€ I was just being philosophical here particularly when one becomes too preoccupied and obsessed with the self it helps to step back and look at the bigger picture. But the opposite is equally true just as you put forth πŸ˜€
