On my recent visit to California I was treated to an awe-inspiring sight
of a lone surfboarder bidding farewell to
2014 in his own unique way.
Tomorrow is another day
Lets go home
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
(Location: Laguna Beach, CA, pics courtesy Emrys)
Wishing all my friends and readers who’ll be welcoming the New Year before me A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR! It’s an Ocean of Possibilities out there!

Carnival of Life
As the earth spins
And time rolls on
Affection becomes an obligation
Lines deepen into wrinkles
The present becomes the past
And the past history
Front in line steps back
As the weary spine sags towards the ground
The carnival of life stops for no one
It simply goes on

The concrete jungles of California aren’t without their share of peaceful spots—the Japanese Gardens in Balboa Park in San Diego, Hsi Lai Buddhist temple in Hacienda Heights, and Huntington Library and Gardens in San Marino, California.
